Liberty Police Department Capt. Toby Meloro, left, and Sgt. Robert Graef install a flashing light socket outside a Liberty resident's home as part of Senior Watch Program. If a resident is having a problem the resident can turn on the flashing light and officers responding can easily identify the house.

Special to The Vindicator THREE OF A KIND: The Rotary Club of Youngstown presented the Paul Harris Fellow award to Miranda Young at the annual Presidents Ball on June 24. The presentation was made in recognition of her work as head of the mentoring program with Rotary’s “Put Kids First” project. Young, an associate in the Youngstown office of Hill, Barth and King, center, is joined by Carol Sherman, at left, and Frank Kishel, past recipients of the award, which is the highest honor bestowed upon a member of Rotary International.
