Special to The Vindicator TEA TIME: For a fundraising tea in the Community Room of the Hubbard Public Library, the Harding Park Meeting House Building Committee had transformed the room into an elegant tea house for a sold out crowd. The community’s support for the July 18 event moves the building committee closer to its goal of resurrecting the historic 1857 Presbyterian Meeting House in Harding Park. The planned Harding Park Meeting House will be the site for quaint, picturesque weddings and community social events. 'This has been a tradition of Tabernacle church body members for over 17 years,' said Lynn L. Smith, of the church. They handed out more than 750 hot dogs that hot July day.
