When a person dies and chooses the complete form of green burial, the body must be wrapped or placed ina biodegradable material. Joseph Lane, president and chief operating officer of Lane Funeral Homes, shows a shroud made of sea grass that could be used in green burials. Green burial "is something different and not for everyone, but it's something we can't ignore," Lane said. At the Lane Funeral Home in Canfield, an entire display is dedicated to green burial products, including wooden and wicker coffins.

The road between Belle Vista and Millet avenues on the city's West Side was closed after a traffic accident at the 2000 block of Mahoning Avenue at 8:35 a.m. Friday. The accident caused downed power line wires to fall onto the road after a utility pole was struck, police said. Sun ,a pool ,a raft and cool water is all the joy we need in this world on a hot summer day. This is a pic of our Cavalier King Charles "Abby" She loves swimming in our pool and floating around on her raft during those dog days of summer. No need for a run to the water dish either she just hangs her head over the side and ahhhh all the refreshment she needs.Also enjoying the pool is her owner Denise DeLuca from Struthers and her sister Marilyn Tekac from Poland. Ohh we cant wait for the joyous return of the "dog days of summer"
