Nick Lamb, age 15 of Boardman pets Shiloh, an Akita mix, prior to his father filling out an application to adopt the dog from Wags Canine Rescue at the Petsmart in Boardman. Wags Canine Rescue is a group of about 12 people who foster previously abandoned and abused dogs in their homes and have arranged the adoption of over 500 dogs since their start in May of 2004.
