Special to The Vindicator
CHECK THIS OUT: The Valley Cruzers car cruises at Joe Sylvester’s Shepherd Self Storage of Boardman, boosted by support from Sean Pregibon’s Youngstown Sports Grill and other sponsors, made it possible for the club to present checks of $1,500 each to the Touched by Nathan Foundation and the Youngstown Foundation “Operation Search and Help” during a dinner Dec. 1. Club President Tom Eaton, second from left, Vice President Santo Reda, center, and Treasurer Jerry Kolesar presented the checks to Malanie Yannitto, far left, for the Nathan Foundation and Mary Ann Schaper, far right, for the Youngstown Foundation. The money the car club raised this year was made possible with the sponsors and the weekly cruisers who drive in from around the area and from neighboring states. Since the start of the club 10 years ago, the members with the help of their wives have donated more than $50,000 to area charities.
