As members of one of the largest service organizations in the world, the two will work together to help the club on the local and international levels. BOUND TO PLEASE: Those attending the book sale and silent auction being sponsored by Friends of East Palestine Memorial Public Library at the library, 309 N. Market St., East Palestine, will have no trouble finding something to read or to tweek their interest. There will be fiction and nonfiction hardback and paperback books, records, videos, puzzles, games, magazines, cassettes, books on tape, and VHS and DVD movies. Displaying some of the items that will be available for sale from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday are, from left, Bonnie Davis, Carol Garvin, Ruth Ann Dodge, Margaret Javens, Rachel Mercer, Jenny Dailey, and Tamra Hess. Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase up-to-date items for the library.
