Cheriese Farkas, a teacher at Youngstown Community School works with Markies Hopkins, 7, a student at the school, on a math problem during a 4 week summer intervention program at the school Wed 7-9-08. The program stresses math and reading skills to improve test scores and foster a love of learning. About 45 students participated in the program.
