[7.12.2008] Fawn Allison, Great Great Granddaughter of master builder P. Ross Berry, speaks to guests during the Commemoration of St. Augustine Episcopal Chapel, of which she is a member, as a recepient of an Ohio Historical Marker July 12, 2008. Charles Berry, son of P. Ross Berry, completed construction of the church in 1921, which is the only known church in Mahoning County to be chartered by an African American woman. The church, chartered by Lenora Berry in 1907, ministered to its congregation out of their homes for 11 years before purchasing the property where the church stands today.
