A Mahoning County Engineer’s office truck loads up with salt before the storm that blanketed the Mahoning Valley with 4-6 inches of snow Tuesday night into Wednesday. The long, snowy winter has left many communities across the state with little salt left to melt the flakes and ice on area roadways.
