LIBERTY A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, at 7 p.m. at the Blackstone Funeral Home, for Gregory A. Snyder Sr., who passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018, from a long illness.
Greg was born April 5, 1947, in Warren. He was the son of William and Olive (Burrows) Snyder.
He leaves behind his wife, Darlene (Hosterman) Snyder; his children, Raymond (April) Snyder, Greg (Sher) Snyder Jr., Michelle (Frank) Kifer, and Mitch (Melissa) Snyder, and his special daughter, Tracy (Jim) Dennis; his nine grandchildren, Francisca, Travis, Katie, Raymond, William, Ina, Nicholas, Olivia, and Mitch; also his sister, Judy Jackson of Arizona; and brothers Larry Herbert, and Clayce Herbert of Columbus.
Greg loved camping, fishing, and being with friends and family, especially his friend, John Lago, whom he loved a lot. Greg retired from General Motors after 35 years to become a full-time grandpa. He will be loved and missed by all.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
