COLUMBIANA Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, at 10 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Edith Marie Rispinto, 90, whom the Lord called home to eternal rest on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018.
Edith was born April 28, 1927, in Struthers, a daughter of Anthony and Mary Colutes Nero.
She married Leo A. Rispinto on April 24, 1959.
She worked at Timken Roller Bearing in Canton, Ohio Bell in Canton, as a telephone operator and A&A Tire Inc. in New Springfield. Edith was also an Express Mail Contractor for the United States Postal Service along with her husband, Leo.
Edith enjoyed gardening, baking, and spending time with her family. She loved solving puzzles and watching football and baseball, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
Edith leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Linda (Joseph) Rumplik Sr. of Richmond Heights, Nancie Miller of Columbiana, and Denise (Edson) Wolfcale, Sr. of Ravenna; one son, Leonard A. (Rhonda) Rispinto Jr. of New Middletown; four grandchildren, Joseph Rumplik Jr., Jessica Miller, Edson Wolfcale Jr. and Nicholas Rispinto; one brother, Albert (Lynette) Massen of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; three sisters, Dorothy Laigle of Canton, Helen Brittain of Knoxville, Tenn. and Jean (Don) Niemi of Chatsworth, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo, who died May 11, 2013; an infant son and an infant daughter; four brothers, Joseph, Ernie, Ralph and Roy Nero; and two granddaughters Ellyssa and Erika Wolfcale.
Friends may call Friday evening, Jan. 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
