TURTLE LAKE, N.D. - Jason Phillip Sweet, 41, formerly of Youngstown, departed from this life on Feb. 2, 2017, along with his dog, Roscoe.
He was born Sept. 23, 1975, the son of Jay (Jackie) Sweet of Volant, Pa., and Sandra (Bill) Howard of Clamath Falls, Ore.
He leaves behind three sons, Brian, Kaden, and Tristen; his forever, Robin Youren; five brothers and three sisters, Jeremy (Angel) Sweet, Joshua McCaslin, Jesse McCaslin, Jennifer Hill, Jarod McCaslin, Terri (Janel) Sweet, Heather (Jimmy) Richards, and Angela (Andy) Root. He was loved and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is also survived by his ex-wife, Angela Barton.
Jason lived in Las Vegas and Utah as a child. For his work, he did a little of everything from sheep herding to making rocket fuel. He loved living in the country, being outdoors, gardening, cooking and spending time with friends around the bonfire.
A gathering will be held to celebrate Jasons life at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at the Venture Church in Boardman.
