WARREN Patricia R. Sypert entered into eternal rest following a brief illness Monday, March 10, 2014, at OBrien Memorial Health Care in Masury, surrounded by her family.
Patricia was born Nov. 15, 1939, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Kaulis) Sotkovsky.
Patricia retired in 1996, after 30 years of service at Packard Electric.
She was a member of the Blessed John Paul II Parish in Warren and enjoyed needle point, watching game shows and spending time with her family.
Patricias memories will be cherished by her husband, Donald J. Sypert, with whom she entered into marriage Nov. 9, 1957, and spent 56 years together; two sons, James Sypert of Evergreen, Colo., and Donald M. (Linda Lindsey) Sypert of Sterling, Colo.; one daughter, Michelle (Ron) Miller of Kirtland Hills; one sister, Frances (Pat) Villano of Hubbard; six grandchildren, Daniel Miller, Amanda Miller, Chris Sypert, Michael Sypert, Megan Sypert and Danielle Kretchmer; and one great-grandson, Jayce.
Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Craig; and a granddaughter, Brittany Sypert.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in Patricias name.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Blessed John Paul II Parish at St. Joseph Church, 420 North St. NW in Warren, with the Rev. Christopher Henyk officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to Mass at the church.
