LAS VEGAS John S. Dina, 59, formerly of Boardman, passed away Feb. 7, 2014, in Las Vegas.
He was born Sept. 8, 1954, in Youngstown, the son of John and Mary (Csernik) Dina.
John graduated from Boardman High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy on the USS Trenton. After the military, he settled in Las Vegas.
He specialized in cabinet making and custom woodworking and later worked for the Ewing Towing Co. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing guitar.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Dina.
He will be sadly missed by his mother, Mary Dina of Poland; brothers Edward (Gayle) Dina of Nevada and David Dina of Poland; and sisters Karen (James) Atkinson of Virginia, Jean (Michael) McDorman of Poland and Mary (Edwin) Dickson of Nevada.
He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church with Father Martin officiating.
There are no calling hours.
Interment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery.
