YOUNGSTOWN A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Monday at the McCauley Funeral Home for Linda M. Joy Clark, 45, who passed away Thursday evening at Valley Care Northside Medical Center.
Linda was born Oct. 14, 1968, in Pittsburgh, and was a daughter of Ronald L. and Jacqueline C. Reese Joy. She came to Youngstown in 1994 from Wellsville, where she had moved in 1983.
She was self-employed as the owner, operator, producer and promoter of JSMC Productions, also working as a DJ going by the name of Mistress Dragon.
She was a member of St. Columba Cathedral and of the Navy Sea Cadets.
Linda was a graduate of Wellsville High School, where she was a member of the Flag Corps of the high school band from 1983 to 1986. She received her associates degree from Kent State University and furthered her education by attending the former Hospitality Institute of Boardman. She loved music and her favorite song was Shameless by Garth Brooks.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her parents; her husband, James E. Clark Jr.; daughters, Alicia Roberts and Ashley Clark; sister, Cindy (Mike) Schneider; brothers, Richard Joy and Robert Joy; four grandsons and a granddaughter; five nieces and two nephews; and her ex-husband, Michael (Joey) Samberson
Linda was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Philomena Reese; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Loretta Joy; and a granddaughter, Cassandra P. White.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 p.m. to the time of the service at the funeral home.
