ROBERT L. 'BOB' SEXTON

GIRARD – There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman with Pastor Harold Wilson celebrating for Robert L. “Bob” Sexton, 66, who passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014.

Bob was born Aug. 24, 1947, in Girard, the son of John R. and Mary (Baltic) Sexton.

Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He was retired from G.M. Lordstown. Bob loved animals especially his pet squirrel “Fang,” his dog, “Blue,” and cat, “Mama Kitty.” He enjoyed working on cars and his work was top notch. He was very meticulous about his automotive skills and always showed concern and love to his customers.

Bob will always be remembered by his three sisters, Sylvia Sexton of Girard, Carrie “Cindy” Rossi of Liberty and Mary E. Sexton of Boardman; two brothers, Kenneth (Lelo) Sexton of Texas and Eugene (Debbie) Sexton of Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Sexton; sister, Linda Achten; two brothers-in-law, Kenny Achten and Louis Rossi, Jr.; and niece, Mar’ica Sexton.

Friends may call on Friday, April 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue, in Boardman.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that material contributions be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.

Family and friends may visit the Book of Memories at www.rossifunerals.com to view this tribute and send condolences to Bob’s family.
