CAMPBELL George Douglas, 68, passed away Tuesday morning at his residence with his family by his side.
George was born Aug. 3, 1945, in Bridgeport, Conn., the son of John and Lora Spurr Behon.
He was a laborer for Mid-Continent Coal and Coke.
George enjoyed watching wrestling on TV, loved classic cars and going to all of the car shows. He talked on the CB radio and was known by the handle, Spooky.
George leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, the former Deborah Jackson, whom he married Oct. 12, 1974; his father, John Behon; his son, Robert Douglas of Campbell; his daughters, Lora Baker of Campbell and Melissa Gallop of Parma; four grandchildren, Jackson and Georgia Baker, Tyler Gallop and Connor Douglas; three sisters, Maryann Gum of West Union, W.Va., and Ruth Mewbourne and Jeannie Behon, both of Lake Milton; and a brother, Charles of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lora; and a brother, Thomas.
The Douglas family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
