CLEARWATER, FLA. Betty Jane (Phillips) Dalleske went home to the Lord on Sept. 5, 2013, at Sylvan Health Center in Clearwater.
Born Dec. 31, 1918, in Youngstown, she was a daughter of Roy and Elizabeth Phillips.
She married Ronald H. Dalleske on Jan. 21, 1939. He died Jan. 23, 1997.
Betty lived in Boardman until 1972, moved to Lighthouse Point, Fla. in 1972, then Boca Raton, Fla. until 1988, when she moved to Clearwater. She was a member of the Boardman Methodist Church, volunteered at Southside Hospital, was a member of Lighthouse Point welcome wagon and Clearwater Yacht Club. She was an avid bridge player.
She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. Most important to her was her family.
She leaves two sons, Dr. Ron (Belinda) Dalleske of Brooksville, Fla. and Rich (Patti) Dalleske of Boardman; one daughter, Jan (Bob) Sherman of Poland; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and her devoted love of six years, Elden Weiss.
She is also survived by her sister, Velma Wolfgang and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations were made to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd. in Clearwater.
