YOUNGSTOWN Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers for Alfred DeJoseph, 86, who passed away Friday evening, Oct. 4.
Alfred was born June 1, 1927, in LAquila, Italy, the son of Angelo and Angela Pia DeGuiseppe.
He was employed 33 years at Youngstown Sheet and Tube. He was a member of the church and a fan of WWE wrestling. Alfred served his country during the Korean conflict with the U.S. Army.
Alfred will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lucy (Marcolini) DeJoseph of Youngstown; his son, Angelo DeJoseph of Boardman; a sister, Antonia Galano of Italy; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James A. DeJoseph and two sisters, Emma Rubeis and Clara Tuccella.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
