JOSEPH CANATELLI

YOUNGSTOWN – Joseph Canatelli, 91, passed away Tuesday evening, May 21, 2013.

Joseph was born Jan. 4, 1922, in Youngstown, the son of Angelo and Mary (Vitullo) Canatelli.

Joseph proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II, being awarded five Bronze Stars. He was retired from U.S. Steel and was an avid bowler and an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Joseph will always be remembered by his son, Joseph Canatelli of Youngstown and his two daughters, Debbie Canatelli and Susan (James) Canatelli-Murray, both of Phoenix.

Friends may call on Friday, May 24, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.

A private burial will take place on Saturday, May 25.
