YOUNGSTOWN Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish at St. Matthias Church with Fr. John Jerek officiating for Mildred B. Hegedusich Baytos, 85, who entered into rest on March 2, 2013, at Beeghly Oaks.
Mildred was born July 31, 1927, in Vienna, a daughter of Anthony Hegedusich and Stella Schilling Hegedusich.
She was a graduate of South High School.
Prior to her marriage, Mildred worked for Worth Clothes in downtown Youngstown and as a cashier at Woodside Receiving Hospital. Following her marriage, she worked at the Brown Derby restaurant in salad bar prep.
Mildred was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish at St. Matthias Church and also belonged to the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Baytos; her sisters, Jeanne Niziolek and Genevieve Hegedusich; and her brothers, Edward and George Hegedusich.
Mildred is survived by her children, Monica J. Baytos of Youngstown and Robert A. Baytos of Nitrl, W.Va. She also leaves a brother, William (Ceil) Hegedusich as well as several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews..
Friends and family may call at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish at St. Matthias Church on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
The Baytos family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home in Boardman.
