BOARDMAN Memorial services to honor the life of Kathryn V. Gillen, 90, who passed Feb. 3, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
Kathryn was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas and Susan Struhalla Voitus.
She was a Chaney High School graduate and worked in the Admissions Department of Youngstown State University, retiring after 30 years.
Kathryn was a member of St. Dominic Church and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Her husband, Thomas, whom she married Sept. 19, 1946, passed away Nov. 11, 1981.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Kathleen (Glenn) Wert of Simpsonville, S.C. and JoAnne (Michael) Layton of Clayton, Calif.; two sisters, Wilma Hripko and Barbara Voitus, both of Youngstown; two brothers, Thomas Voitus of Youngstown and Edward Voitus of North Carolina; and five grandchildren, Tyler and James Wert and Scott, Sara and Sean Layton .
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Scott; and two brothers, Francis and John Voitus.

Arrangements are by the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
The family wishes to express appreciation to the staff at Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman for the wonderful care given to Kathryn. They also would like to express appreciation to Kathryns neighbor, Elton Greer, for the years of friendship and care he provided for Kay.
