YOUNGSTOWN A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church, for Brandon Gregory St. Pierre, 21, who died unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.
Brandon was born July 1, 1991, the son of Gregory St. Pierre and Jodi and Glenn Fear.
Brandon was a 2010 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. He currently was a Junior at Youngstown State University, majoring in Economics.
Brandon played Struthers Little Wildcat football, St. Nicholas basketball, football for the South Cardinals and for Cardinal Mooney High School, winning the State Championship in 2009. He took great pride in being a member of the team and a part of the Mooney family.
Brandon was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Marian Counsel, the Lake Milton Fish and Game Club, the Mahoning Trap League, and avid hunter, shooting enthusiast and outdoorsman.
Family and friends were Brandons world. He had a kind soul and a loving heart. His electric smile and warm personality lit up the room and will be remembered by all that knew him.
Brandon will remain in our hearts forever.
Brandon leaves his parents; a sister, Lindsey; a brother, Patrick; his beloved girlfriend, Kristen Basista; grandparents Charles and Norma Hempstead; grandmother Debra Fear; his aunts, Terri Hempstead (godmother), Michele (John) Chicase, Mickey and Evelyn Schepka, William and Carolyn Price, Janet Reinhart, Paula (Bill) Askin, Gerri (Jim) Badley, Yvone St. Pierre, and Joann Hulvachick; and many loving cousins, extended family and numerous friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dominc and Nancy St. Pierre; uncle Ronald St. Pierre; and great-grandparents on both sides of the family.
Family and friends will be received today, Feb. 27, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Kirila Funeral Home Inc., 258 Poland Ave. in Struthers.
On Thursday there will be a prayer service at the funeral home starting at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brandons memory.
