YOUNGSTOWN A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Virginia Clinkscales will be held on Tuesday at noon at the Union Baptist Church.
Mrs. Clinkscales was born Dec. 17, 1925, in West Virginia, a daughter of Peter and Arzabell McElroy Pack coming to the Mahoning Valley many years ago.
She was a member of the Union Baptist Church and a previous member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church.
She was a loving and devoted homemaker, who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughters, Diane Dunn, with whom she shared her home, Denise (Ralph Sr.) Dooley, Lyla Clinkscales, all of Youngstown, Donna Clinkscales of Fort Washington, Md.; her sister, Pat (Harvey Jr.) Clinkscales; four grandchildren, Tina Clinkscales, William Dunn, Ralph Dooley II, and Patrick Dooley; five great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Clinkscales; two sisters, Flora Tucker and Wilthena Perkins; three brothers, Richard Pack, Edmond Pack and Peter George Pack.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Ave.
Interment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery.
