YOUNGSTOWN Anthony Ricciuti, 82, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
He was born on May 22, 1930, in Centerville, Pa., to the late Iolanda (Cecchini) Ricciuti and Giovanni Ricciuti.
Surviving family members include nieces Paula Bruening and Kathryn Bruening, and nephew John Bruening.
Predeceased family members include his parents; a sister, Anne R. Bruening; and a brother-in-law, Paul J. Bruening.
Anthony was a 1948 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, decorated with the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He briefly attended Youngstown State University, and was formerly employed as a burner for LTV Republic Steel. He was a member of St. Charles Church.
A funeral service will be held at St. Charles on Thursday, May 2, at 10 a.m. with Fr. Michael Marcelli presiding. A gathering of family at the church is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
