FOLEY, ALA. Louis A. Kish, 93, a native of Hubbard, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at a hospital in nearby Pensacola, Fla.
Louis, who was known affectionately as Uncle Duke, was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Army for over 20 years and attaining the rank of Master Sergeant.
He served as president of the Senior Citizen Center in Foley from 2000 to 2004.
Louis leaves a brother, Ed (Joanne) Kish of Lillian, Ala.; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
His wife, Margaret Orgavain Kish; a brother, Al Kish; and two sisters, Betty Mathews and Jessie Patrosky, preceded him in death.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a committal service for Louis at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at St. John Cemetery Chapel on Villa Marie Road in Campbell, where interment will follow after the service.
Arrangements were entrusted Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.
