HUBBARD Jerome Jerry S. Vanditti, 83, passed away 1:40 a.m. on Nov. 9, 2012, in Sharon Regional Health System n Sharon, Pa.
He was born on Aug. 15, 1929, to Nickola and Chervbina (Patrick) Venditti in Hubbard.
Jerry was a veteran who served during World War II in the U.S. Marine Corps. Jerry worked as a Supervisor for Youngstown Building Materials (YMB).
On Jan. 21, 1958, he married the late Kathryn Klempay, who passed away June 26, 1992.
Jerry was a member of the First Christian Assembly of Liberty. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Post 0432 in Wheatland, Pa. Jerry enjoyed farming, mechanics, and welding.
Jerry is survived by his two daughters, Janet (Pete) Hall of Galena and Lori (Mark) Wansack of West Middlesex, Pa.; son, Jerome C. Vanditti of West Middlesex; two sisters, Faye Koop of Coreapolis, Pa. and Nancy (Joel) Sabella of Hubbard; brother, Guido Venditti of Boardman; six grandchildren, Peter Hall Jr., Kristina Hall, Maggie Wansack, Matt Wansack, Jerome C. Vanditti Jr., and Joe Vanditti.
He was preceded in death by father, Nickola Venditti; mother, Chervbina Venditti; wife, Kathryn Vanditti; sisters, Ann Gori, Jean Stafford, Lillian Pritchard, Lucy Stafford, Betty Calvert, and Clara Mansel; brothers, Walter Venditti, James Venditti, Arthur Venditti, and Richard Venditti; also two infants.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home, 2201 Highland Road, Hermitage, Pa.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home, Hermitage, Pa., with Pastor Jeff Dennis of Liberty First Christian Assembly Church, officiating.
Burial will take place at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
