MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Margaret Kay Meadows, 68, wife of Myron James “Jim” Meadows, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at her residence.

Kay was born March 10, 1944, in Beaver Falls, Pa., a daughter of the late Dale and Ruth Butler Clark.

Prior to her illness, Kay was a waitress at Hot Stacks and The Sea Captain’s House, both in Myrtle Beach. Most recently, Kay was the owner/operator of Silky Bath N’ Body, specializing in decorative soaps and bath salts for any occasion. She loved to line dance and participated with various groups in the area as much as three nights a week. Kay also had an adventurous spirit, enjoying life to the fullest on her motorcycle and in her convertible.

Surviving in addition to her husband; are her three children, David Workman of Simpsonville, S.C., Amy Workman of Myrtle Beach and Eric Workman of Boardman; her three stepchildren, Lisa Gillern of Albion, Mich., Trisha Ann Diana and her husband, Steve of Youngstown and Stacy Meadows of Akron; her siblings, Dale Clark and his wife, Jeannie, of Niles and Jane Winters of East Palestine; her 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the McMillan-Small Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., following the visitation.
