YOUNGSTOWN – Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Virginia M. Janci, 65, who passed away early Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Virginia was born Jan. 26, 1947, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Stephen P. and Mary D. (Vasko) Janci.
Virginia was a 1965 graduate of Chaney High School and attended Youngstown State University.
She was a secretary at the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation. She enjoyed crafts, ceramics, and decorating.
Virginia leaves two sisters, Jerri Varanelli of Erie, Pa. and Bonnie (Bill) Leaming of Aurora, Colo. and Austintown; a niece, Vicki Saska of Erie, Pa.; a nephew, Dan Varanelli of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four great-nieces; a great-nephew; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.

Ginny and I were good friends at Chaney H.S. and exchanged cards and letters after I moved to Colorado in 1963. My deepest sympathy and many prayers are with the family.”
