

HUBBARD Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for John T. Jubak, 75, who passed away Monday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown.
John was born April 29, 1936, in Youngstown, the son of John G. and Anne (Zvarich) Jubak.
He was a 1953 graduate of Ursuline High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
John was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, a member of the Vienna Fish and Game Club, the NRA, and the Masons. He was a Civic Marksmanship Master Trainer and a regular attendee of the National Rifle Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio. John was also an active member of the Marine Corps League, where he served as Commandant from 2006 to 2008, and again from 2010 to the present. He was very proud to be a part of the Toys for Tots program sponsored by the Marines.
John retired in 1997, after 44 years of service, from the Structural Iron Workers Union Local 207, where he worked as a Foreman with Diamond Steel.
He leaves one son, Bob (Mary) Jubak of Cincinnati; four grandchildren, Marie, Bobby, Zach, and Josh, all of Cincinnati; as well as two brothers, Joe Jubak of Youngstown and Charles (Nancy) of Austintown.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Toys for Tots or to the Youngstown VA Clinic on Belmont Avenue in Johns name.
