STRUTHERS There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Struthers Presbyterian Church for Douglas A. Wilson, 52, who passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 11, at his home.
Doug was born Aug. 5, 1958, in Youngstown, the son of David R. and June T. (Colaneri) Wilson.
He was a graduate of Lowellville High School and the TDDS Truck Driving School. Doug was employed as a steel worker at LTV Steel and as a semi-truck driver for National Uniform and most recently at Schwebels Bakery. He was a member of the Struthers Presbyterian Church, the Gridiron Club and Teamsters 377. Doug coached baseball at many levels for the Struthers Baseball Association. He truly had a love of family and of children.
He will always be remembered by his wife, the former Patricia Rae Burrows, whom he married April 30, 1982; two sons, Michael R. (Ashley) Wilson of Struthers and Matthew D. Wilson, at home; his parents of Lowellville; a brother, David H. (Betsy) Wilson; two sisters, Bonnie J. (Marc) Esposito and Carrie L. (Robert) Ingram; his grandmother, Neveda Colaneri; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Phillips; father-in-law, Richard (Alice) Burrows; sisters-in-law, Becki Gluckner, Kathi Burrows, Bonnie Burrows and Chrissie (Chris) Broderick; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, at the Rossi - Lellio Funeral Home, 151 Second St. in Lowellville.
