BOARDMAN – There will be prayers at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Dominic Church in Youngstown, celebrated by the Rev. Gregory Maturi for Carmen Marinucci, 85, who passed away Saturday morning, surrounded by his loving family at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Carmen was born Oct. 18, 1925, in Pacentro, Italy, a son of Raffaele and Lucia D’Arenzo Marinucci.

Carmen came to Campbell in 1947, and had been a member of St. Dominic Parish for over 60 years.  He was employed by Republic Steel for 35 years and was a master finish carpenter.  He was one of the founding members of the Pacentrani Club.  Carmen loved politics, stocks, but most of all his never ending love for his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of over 61 years, Lidia Rubino whom he married on June 18, 1949, in Pacentro, Italy.  He will be greatly missed by his three daughters, Lucy Stanton of Poland, Linda (Bob) McGovern of Boardman and Rina (Frank) Deley, also of Boardman; two sons, Ralph (Kristine) Marinucci and Marco (Janie) Marinucci, both of Boardman; 11 grandchildren, Tara (Nick) Allen, David Stanton, Rob (Cheryl) McGovern, Kristina (Adam) Tokash, Brian McGovern, Carmen Nicholas Marinucci, Danielle Deley, Taylor Deley, Nicole Deley, Gianna Marinucci and Carmen Marinucci; five great-grandchildren, Ava, Luke and Marc McGovern, Sean Tokash and Zachary Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Armando Marinucci; and a son-in-law, David Stanton.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
