AUSTINTOWN Paula Packo, 81, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Paula was born July 21, 1928, in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of the late Peter and Helen Grimes OMalley, and lived in the Youngstown area for most of her life.
As a homemaker, Paula dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family.
She leaves four sons, Joseph (Debbie) Packo, William (Marcia) Packo, Michael Packo and Patrick Packo; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Kathleen Strunak of Cleveland and Sister Anna Marie Cole, CSJ of Wheeling; a brother, Charles W. Cole of Cortland; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Packo was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Packo; brothers, William and Terrance OMalley; and a sister, Margaret OMalley Vennetti.
Private services were held with interment at Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
