THURSDAY

Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will host a drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Menu includes stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost is $7. Pepperoni rolls also will be available for $2 each. Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, will sponsor a drive-through chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals are $7 and will feature stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Dinners may be reserved by calling 330-549-2588. Pull up to the door and someone will deliver your dinners to you.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for fresh potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. or until sold out Thursday and at 10:30 a.m. Friday, if available, by calling 330-746-9528. Pick up will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Lunches also will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell pirogi Friday. Call in orders Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. until sold out, by calling 330-755-1316. Choose potato, kraut or prune pirogi at $6 per dozen. Pickup will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins not accepted. Final sale of the season will be May 24.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will have a pirogi sale. The cost is $6 per dozen. Potato, cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi are available. Phone orders will be taken from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Call 330-542-3525 to order. Pick up will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Friday. This is the last week to order pirogi.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, is selling potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Walk-in orders are welcome.

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter and coffee. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $8 and will be available until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

VFW Post 2799 Auxiliary will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the post home, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, Italian bread, coffee or tea. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

FRIDAY

Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $7 a dozen. No containers are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Use the side entrance.

SATURDAY

Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will host a chicken pie dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Menu includes chicken pie, potato, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, bread, drink and dessert. Takeouts will be available. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children age 6 to 12 and free to preschool children. For information, call Donna at 330-638-5189.

St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will offer its next Second Saturday Supper from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The menu includes two Pittsburgh-style city chicken sticks, mushroom soup gravy, mashed potatoes, salad, bread and butter, a dessert and beverage. Cost is $12 and $6 for children under 12. Takeouts will be available.

Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will host a free pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. Donations will be accepted, and proceeds will benefit World Service Projects.

SUNDAY

St. James the Apostle Parish, 4019 state Route 422, Pulaski, Pa., will host John’s Breakfast Brunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Breakfast includes French toast, sweet cheese filling, buttermilk and buckwheat pancakes with a choice of maple or peach syrup, scrambled eggs, eggs scrambled with peppers, onions and cheese, bacon, sausage, ham, home fries, toast, fresh cinnamon rolls, hot and cold cereals, coffee, tea, juices and milk. First United Methodist Church of Columbiana, 210 S. Main St., will host a drive through ham dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Attendees are asked to use the drive-through entrance on Pittsburgh Street.

TAKING ORDERS

St. George Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, is taking orders for chicken noodle soup, green bean soup and potato soup. Cost is $6 per quart. Orders must be received May 17 by calling Tim Komara at 330-519-9036. Pickup will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 22.

Cortland United Methodist Church, 155 N. High St., will host its 20th annual Kentucky Mountain Dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 18. Menu includes sweet potato casserole, honey baked ham, Kentucky corn bread, creamed chicken on homemade biscuits, green beans, bean soup, cobbler or derby pie and a beverage. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children age 3 to 12. Proceeds benefit the mission trip to Red Bird Mission in Beverly, Ky.

Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church will sponsor a free neighborhood community dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. May 28 at the Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown.

Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield Niles Road, Austintown, will host Supper at the Corner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. May 16. The meal is free as a community outreach of the church. Donations accepted to continue the program.
