What: Join the Trumbull County master gardener volunteers to practice propagation of common woody ornamentals, including those in your yard.

What: Join us as we catch lightning bugs, read a story and enjoy marshmallows around the fire.
Where: Kiosk at the MetroParks Bikeway Trailhead at MetroParks Farm, Route 46, Canfield.

KAYAKING FOR WOMEN
When: Next Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon
What: Enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Newport and wetlands up close with naturalist Arika Preas in this series of programs designed for women. Age and experience restrictions may apply.
Where: East Newport Boat Launch, East Newport Drive, Youngstown.
