The children at Austintown Community Church Preschool Childcare Center went on a “Journey to Bethlehem” on Dec. 12 and 13.

This annual, interactive play is put on by parent and church member volunteers. The roles played by the volunteers, include an angel, an inn keeper, shepherds, three wisemen, Mary, Joseph and, of course, baby Jesus.

The staff at A.C.C. transformed the upstairs hallway into several scenes in order to replicate the long journey that Mary and Joseph took to Bethlehem.

This event offered annually for the children attending A.C.C. Preschool to help enhance their spiritual growth and understanding of Jesus’ birth. It is also meant to bring hope, peace, joy and love to all.

A.C.C. Preschool Childcare Center enrolls children ages 3-10 years of age. For more information about the center and its programs, visit their Facebook page by searching for Austintown Community Church Preschool & Childcare, or call the office at 330-793-1843.
