Boardman Historical Society invites the public to its monthly Speakers Series. This month’s lecture will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, Boardman, will host a 13-week grief support series through the GriefShare ministry from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Jan. 22. The GriefShare team provides a safe, understanding place for individuals to move through their personal grief journeys. Participants need not be church members. Each session is self-contained, so participants may enter at any session. Each session will include videos featuring some of the nation’s foremost experts on grief recovery. Sessions also include small group support and a workbook for personal study. Participants are welcome to share stories, but are never forced.
