Girls varsity bowling beats Howland

The Austintown Fitch High School girls varsity bowling team beat Howland High School with a score of 2097-2081 on Dec. 19. Senior Renee Seebacher led the Falcons with games of 184 and 182 for a 366 series.

Girls varsity bowling downs Canfield

The girls varsity bowling team at Austintown Fitch High School improved their conference record by beating Canfield 2094-1653 on Jan. 16. Senior Renee Seebacher performanced well for the Falcons, bowling games of 256 and 208 for a 464 series.

Girls junior varsity bowling places at tournament

The Austintown Fitch High School girls junior varsity bowling team finished in 16th place in a junior varsity only tournament at Eastbury Lanes on Jan. 26. Senior Jacey Piccoli was the top performer for the team, bowling a 348 series.

Girls varsity bowling falls to Howland

The Austintown girls varsity bowling team lost to Howland, falling 1857-2053, on Jan. 28. Senior Samantha Learn had the top scores for the Falcons, bowling games of 159 and 173 for a 332 series.

Varsity boys basketball loses to Canfield

The Austintown Fitch High School boys varsity basketball team fell to Canfield High School with a score of 63-47 on Jan. 29. Leading scorers for the Falcons were Todd Simons and Lorenzo Russo with 19 and 15 points, respectively.

We can only do that if you commit to sending us game reports and photos each week. If you send it, it will get in.

Provide caption information and where people are located from left to right, front row to back. The sports news we’re looking for ranges from varsity high school teams down to middle school and even elementary and recreational leagues. We look forward to hearing about your teams successes.
