Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will host Lenten breakfasts from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Meals are free, but donations will be accepted.

Girard Aerie Eagles 2172, 26 W. Wilson Ave., will sell wings from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $6 for eight wings or a platter for $9 which includes eight wings, french fries and carrots and celery.

THURSDAY

Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will host a drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Menu includes stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost is $7. Pepperoni rolls also will be available for $2 each. Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, will sponsor a drive-through chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals are $7 and will feature stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Dinners may be reserved by calling 330-549-2588.

Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church, 250 N. Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Cost is $6 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for fresh potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. or until sold out Thursday and at 10:30 a.m. Friday, if available, by calling 330-746-9528. Pick up will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Lunches also will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Sales will be suspended for two weeks due to Easter.

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell pirogi Friday. Call in orders Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. until sold out, by calling 330-755-1316. Choose potato, kraut or prune pirogi at $6 per dozen. Pickup will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins not accepted. No sales April 19 and 26. Sales will resume in May.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will have a pirogi sale. The cost is $6 per dozen. Potato, cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi are available. Pickup will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Walk-in orders are welcome. This will be the last sale until May 3.

VFW Post 2799 Auxiliary will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the post home, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, Italian bread, coffee or tea. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter and coffee. American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will host a fish dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. or until sold out. Meals feature a choice of haddock, chicken or shrimp with fries, coleslaw and a roll for $10.50. Pirogi or an extra piece of fish are $4.50; haluski is $3.50; and a child’s dinner is $5.50. St. Brendan Parish, 144 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, will serve sit-down or takeout fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. in Maxwell Hall. There will be a choice of beer-battered, fried, baked or cajun-style fish, with a choice of haluski, seasoned fries, macaroni and cheese or parsley potatoes; coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and cake and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children 10 and under. Cold beverages will be available for purchase. Extra sides are $3 each, and an extra piece of fish is $6. Beaver Ruritan will host its all-you-can-eat family-style fish fry from noon to 6 p.m. in the South Range School cafeteria. Advance tickets are available from any Beaver Ruritan member or at the door. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children 11 and younger. Menu includes fish, french fries, green beans, coleslaw, rolls, drink and dessert.

Campbell “O” Club of St. John Orthodox Church, 301 Struthers-Liberty Road, will sponsor a Russian Easter Fest at the church from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. Everything for Easter baskets or tables will be available, including paska, butter molds, horseradish, kielbasa, slab bacon, pysanky, kolachi and sirnaya paska.

Fowler Fire Department will host its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193. Cost is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children. Preschool-age children eat for free.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the church hall. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children. All carryouts are $7.50; containers are 75 cents, or patrons may provide their own.

St. Angela Merici Church, 397 S. Jackson St., Youngstown, will host its eighth annual spaghetti dinner and basket auction from noon to 4 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults and $4 for children age 12 and younger. Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church, 626 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will host its annual homemade Easter candy sale until April 18. The sale will feature homemade Ω eggs. Poland United Methodist Church is selling homemade Easter candy. Proceeds benefit the youth/young adult mission trip. The selection includes chocolate covered filled eggs. Flavors are chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, M&M, marshmallow, coconut, chocolate nut, peanut butter and Oreo. The eggs are approximately four ounces and are $4 each. There also will be chocolate suckers, chocolate covered Oreos (2 per package), chocolate covered pretzel rods (3 in package) and chocolate covered graham crackers (2 per pack). These items are $1. Pasta fagioli will be $6 per quart, and haluski (made with homemade spaetzle) will be $8 per quart. No need to get out of the car. Pull up under the awning and your order will be brought out.

Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., will host its Easter bake sale from 6 to 8 p.m. April 20. Easter pascha, Easter bread, strudel and kolachi will be available and will be first come, first-served as quantities are limited. Prices vary from $7 to $20.

Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will host Supper at the Corner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. April 18. The meal is free as a community outreach of the church. Donations accepted to continue the program.
