Liberty beat Champion for its first win in nearly a decade. The program had been dropped and was re-started this season. Olivia Benson scored three goals for the Leopards (1-0-1) wile Brianna Sierra and Trinity Howard scored one goal each. Emily Benson made 16 saves for Liberty. No Champion stats were reported.

Madison Luckett scored four goals for Champion. Ariana Peyton, Abby White and Carli Swipas also scored for the Golden Flashes. Sophia D’Urso and Mallory Jessep each finished with three assists. Emma Gumont had four saves for Champion while Dru Gerace had 25 saves for Brookfield.

West Branch 8, Minerva 0


Gillian Koneval scored four goals for West Branch. Lexi Biery, Jillian Pidgeon, Olivia McLean and Abie Davis each scored for the Warriors. Elizabeth Ostadali had two assists. Bri Blevins, Davis, Koneval, McLean and Biery also had assists. No Minerva stats were reported. JV: West Branch 0, Salem 0.

Springfield 17, Waterloo 1


Springfield set a school-record for goals in a game. Gianna Latronica and Kylee Kosek each scored four goals, Macy Centofanti had a hat trick and Abigail Catlos scored twice. Ava DiMaiolo, Madison West, Mya Dusky, and Kaila LaMorticella each had one goal. Laura Hood scored for Waterloo.

Poland 5, South Range 0


Molly Malmer’s brace lead Poland and Carolyn Boccieri, Syda Masucci and Kat Partika each added a goal. Nina Centofanit had three assists. Kailyn Brown and Gabby Romano split time in goal for the clean sheet with nine saves total.

Hubbard 1, Girard 0


Lily Sinopoli scored for Hubbard. No other details were provided.

Beaver Local 2, Howland 1


Isabella Merlo scored for Howland. Tigers goalie Gillian McMurray made five saves.


Bristol 1, Maplewood 0


Damian Durst scored the winning goal for Bristol and was assisted by Zach Stern.

Mineral Ridge 2, Lordstown 1


TJ Gaydosh scored twice for Mineral Ridge (2-1). The Rams outshot Lorstown 14-3. Jay Frank scored the lone goal for Lordstown.


Heartland Christian 3, Wellsville 2


Matthew DeNiro had a pair of goals with assists from Micah Direnzo and Sebastian Sharo for Heartland Christian. Hayden Stewart scored the final goal for the Lions, assisted by Matthew DeNiro. Theo Pethtel had six saves for the Lions. The Tigers goals were from Casey LeMaster and Micthell McIntosh.


Niles 25-25-25, Champion 15-22-23


Taylor Shaner had 12 points, 12 digs, nine kills and four blocks and Keara Taylor Hall had 12 kills and 14 digs for the Red Dragons. Kane Parry had 22 assists and two aces. Morgan Tenney lead Champion with 13 kills, 24 digs and two aces. Savannah Dodrill finished with five kills and 18 assists. Hailey Holland had nine assists and Maggie Dunlap recorded 16 digs. No Niles stats were reported.

St. John 25-25-25, Bristol 23-24-16


Kendyl Switzer had 12 kills and nine blocks to lead Bristol (2-4, 2-3). Kayla Switzer had 14 digs, Alayna Sines had 17 assists and Lindsay Miller recorded eight points. No St. John stats were provided.

Newton Falls 25-25-29, Warren Harding 13-15-27


Elizabeth Barreca led the Tigers with 22 kills. Allison Sembach had a double-double of 27 assists and 18 points as did Atlanta Spahlinger with 14 digs and 10 points. Bree Hutson added 15 digs and seven kills. No stats were reported for Harding.

Alyssa Householder had seven kills, eight assists to lead Canfield. Alexis Mettille had five aces and three blocks and Gabby Demidovich had 14 service points. Kiy’Ara Collins had five points and two aces for East.

Caleigh Hamby had a triple double of 21 kills, 15 assists and 11 points for Newbury (6-0). Haley Hamilton had 22 digs and Madison Fink had 25 assists. No stats were reported for Pymatuning Valley (0-5).
