Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Wednesday, May 16: Baked ziti, Italian vegetables, diced carrots, bread, juice and milk

Thursday, May 17: Pork fritter, Brussels sprouts, corn, pineapple tidbits, wheat bread, cookie and chocolate milk

Friday, May 18: Breakfast burrito, tater tots, juice, cookie and milk

Monday, May 21: Manicotti, zucchini, carrots, applesauce, bread, cookie and milk

Tuesday, May 22: Macaroni and cheese, winter vegetables, peas, peaches, wheat bread, cookie and milk


The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at seven locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or older. Reservations must be made two working days in advance by 2 p.m. There is no income requirement. Donations are accepted for meals. To make a reservation or for information, call 330-675-2486. The office is at 2959 Youngstown Road SE, Warren.

Wednesday, May 16: Turkey, bacon, cheese junior club on a sandwich roll, with mayonnaise, fresh tomato salad, potato salad, mixed fruit, ice cream or graham crackers and milk

Thursday, May 17: Stuffed pepper with tomato sauce, Italian bread with margarine, garlic whipped potatoes, corn, pears, strawberry or angel food cake and milk

Friday, May 18: Pineapple glazed ham, wheat bread with margarine, whipped sweet potatoes, seasoned Brussels sprouts, pineapple tidbits, regular or sugar-free pudding and milk

Monday, May 21: Steak sandwich with peppers, onions, cheese and mayonnaise on a sandwich roll, ranch seasoned potatoes, corn, fresh seasonal fruit, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk

Tuesday, May 22: Orange glazed pork loin, wheat bread with margarine, vegetable rice pilaf, cauliflower, apple salad, pears, vanilla dots or graham crackers and milk
