“Bull” (9 p.m., CBS): In the season 2 finale, Bull’s team is rocked when their client, Elliott Miles (Frank De Julio), is found guilty of murder, and they must regroup as the trial enters the penalty phase in order to prevent him from being sentenced to death.

“First Civilizations” (9 p.m., PBS): Tonight’s episode, part three of this four-part series, explores the Middle East, the birthplace of civilization and site of the world’s first cities.

John Popper at Kent Stage


John Popper, frontman for jam band Blues Traveler for 30 years, will come to Kent Stage, 175 E. Main St., for an 8 p.m. concert tonight. Popper is considered one of the best harmonica players in rock’n’roll history.

Tickets range from $30 to $55 and are available at and at the box office. Opening act will be Katrina Wolverton.

‘Colored troops’ is lecture topic


The Nurturing Pathways to Freedom lecture series of the Sutliff Museum will present “Freedom, Citizenship and Equality: The Story of the United States Colored Troops” by Anthony Gibbs, manager of local history services with the Ohio History Connection, at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Admission is free. The museum is in the Warren Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave.

Floral paintings in Weller Gallery


“Florals from the Butler,” an exhibition of floral paintings from the Butler Institute of American Art, is on display in the Weller Gallery at Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., through June 17. The exhibition includes works by Pete Ballard, Phyllis Beard, George Biddle, Catherine Burchfield, Chen Chi, Bob Guccione and more.
