ELECTION UPDATE | Biggest question in Trumbull is Howland school levy

The biggest question left in tonight's voting appears to be whether the Howland school levy will be approved, as voters have so far approved it 51 percent to 49 percent with 107 of 158 precincts counted. The Niles levy appears headed for defeat with 68 percent voting against it, and Frank Fuda appears destined to prevail over Lisha Pompili Baumiller in the Democratic nomination for county commissioner with 73 percent of the vote. Samuel Bluedorn has a sizeable lead over Jack Pico — 57.5 percent to 42.5 percent — for Family Court judge, and Martha Yoder has a healthy lead over Randy Law for the Republican nomination for 64th District House of Representatives — 55 percent to 45 percent.
