Cheesy Pull-Apart Garlic Bread

Gather ‘round the table for Cheesy Garlic Bread. The pull-apart loaf is the perfect family treat. Slice Italian bread into a diamond pattern and brush with a mix of McCormick roasted garlic and butter. Sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and bake until melty. Yum.

1 loaf Italian bread

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

2 teaspoons McCormick Roasted Garlic

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut bread diagonally without cutting all the way through. Repeat in the opposite direction to create a diamond pattern.

Mix butter and roasted garlic in small bowl. Brush over bread, pushing into the cuts to soak into bread. Sprinkle with cheese, pushing cheese into the cuts. Place bread on foil-lined baking pan.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Cherry Chocolate Bread Pudding

Use whole grain bread to make this chocolate dessert pudding. It adds a heartier texture and healthy fiber to the dish.

2cups firm-textured whole-grain bread cubes (about 3 ounces)

3 tablespoons snipped dried tart red cherries

1 tablespoon toasted wheat germ

2/3 cup fat-free milk

1/4 cup semisweet chocolate pieces

1/3 cup refrigerated or frozen egg product, thawed

1 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel

1/2 teaspoon McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract

Frozen light whipped dessert topping, thawed (optional)

Unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat four 6-ounce individual souffle dishes or custard cups with nonstick cooking spray. Divide bread cubes, cherries, and wheat germ among the dishes.

In a small saucepan, combine milk and chocolate. Cook and stir over low heat until the chocolate melts; remove from heat. If necessary, beat smooth with a wire whisk.

In a small bowl, gradually stir chocolate mixture into egg product. Stir in orange peel and vanilla. Pour mixture over bread cubes in the dishes. Press lightly with back of spoon to moisten bread.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the tops appear firm and a knife inserted near the centers comes out clean.

Serve warm. If desired, serve with whipped topping and sprinkle with cocoa powder. Makes 4 bread puddings.

Cinnamon Monkey Bread

This pull-apart bread is so irresistible that everyone will be clamoring for seconds.

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons McCormick Cinnamon, Ground

3 cans (7.5 ounces each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar and cinnamon in plastic bag. Cut biscuits into quarters. Shake 6 to 8 pieces at a time in cinnamon sugar mixture. Place biscuit pieces in greased 10-cup bundt pan.

Mix leftover cinnamon sugar mixture with melted butter. Pour over biscuits.

Bake 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Invert onto serving plate. Serve warm.
