Top Hat to stage ‘Upper Room’

Staff report

Top Hat Productions will close its 2017-18 season with the “Upper Room,” a story that brings a fresh perspective to the hours following the crucifixion of Jesus, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and also March 30 and 31, at Fairview Arts & Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road.

Admission is free. Numbers for seating will be given out on a first-come basis at the box office, which opens at 5 p.m. the day of each performance.

The original stage production, last staged in 2016, was written and produced by Rev. Robert Noble, a retired music teacher who directed a show choir at Struthers High School, and his former student, Brian Palumbo, who spent four years in the group. Palumbo is also the founder and director of Top Hat.
