OUTDOORS DIGEST || Ladies on the range

Western Reserve Fish & Game Club, 1058 W. Third St., is introducing its free Ladies Day on the Range series beginning today from 2 to 4 p.m.

Participants do not need to own a gun or have previous experience. The program exposes participants to a relaxed and safe opportunity to shoot either the club’s pistols or their own on an indoor range. The club will provide eye and ear protection, ammunition, revolvers, semi-automatics and targets.

For these sessions, the range is reserved for women only, other than the range safety officer and a few volunteers who will not be shooting.

Additional dates for this exercise are March 25, April 14 and 28 and May 12 and 20. Participants may attend any or all of the sessions.

The club asks that if you plan on using your own firearm, call John at 330-647-2763 if it is something other than a .22 or.38 so the club can have ammunition available for use on the range.

For more information, email shooting@wrfg.us, visit www.wrfg.us, or call John at 330-647-2763 or Darial at 330-623-3990.
