Poland swimmers brake records at Sectionals and Districts

On Feb. 9, the Poland swim team competed at Sectionals with 13 swimmers; 11 went on to compete at districts on Feb. 16.

Nico Lattanzio broke two records at Sectionals made previously by his older brothers, Anthony and Dominic Lattanzio.

Qualifying in individual events were Nico Lattanzio in the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, Mark Lanternman in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke and Carly Ungaro in the 100 breaststroke.

Qualifying in relay events were Erin Kilgore, Carly Ungaro, Ellie Blasko and Sarah Wolfe in the girls 200 medley relay; Jason Wilson, Nico Lattanzio, Mark Lanterman and Kenny Santha in the boys 200 medley relay; Rachel Wolfe, Chelsea Kilgore, Erin Kilgore and Carly Ungaro in the girls 400 free relay and Marik Rogenski, Nico Lattanzio and Kenny Santha and Mark Lanterman in the boy’s 400 free relay.

Breaking records for the team were Jason Wilson, Nico Lattanzio Mark Lanterman and Kenny Santha. In the 400 free felay, records were broken by the team of Marik Rogenski, Kenny Santa, Nico Lattanzio and Marck Lantern.
