NFF chapter honors 2 Valley players

Western Reserve’s Dominic Velasquez and Lakeview’s Zach Rogers recently were honored by the Mike Cleary Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

Velasquez was a four-year starting quarterback, has earned three letters in basketball and four letters in baseball while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average, He is ranked first in his class.

Rogers was a three-year starting quarterback, throwing for more than 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns last fall. He was named Third Team All-Ohio. He holds a 3.84 GPA.
