Student wins ‘Best of Show’ at Holy Family science fair

Danielle Patrone, right, a seventh-grade student at Holy Family School in Poland, won Best of Show at this year’s science fair. Charlotte Eskay, left, science teacher, has hosted the fair for students in seventh- and eighth-grade each winter for the past 20 years. People in the community volunteer to serve as judges. Danielle’s project was titled “Does color affect taste?” It was done to determine if the color of a food changes the way it tastes to a person.
