‘One Night in Memphis’ tribute concert coming to Packard hall

“One Night in Memphis,” a musical tribute to four greats of the early rock era, will come to Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave., on March 22 for a 7 p.m. show. Tickets are $40 and are available at the box office, by phone at 330-841-2931 and at WarrenCivicMusic.com.

On Dec. 4, 1956, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash got together for a jam session at Sun Records in Memphis.

“One Night in Memphis” relives that magical night by rock ’n’ roll royalty and features the hit songs “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Ring of Fire,” “Great Balls of Fire,” Blue Suede Shoes,” Shake, Rattle and Roll,” “Don’t Be Cruel” and more.

The 90-minute concert, presented by Warren Civic Music Association, includes former cast members of the Broadway smash musical “Million Dollar Quartet.”
